The XFL, a second football league that no one ever asked for, crashed and burned the moment it began. The sheer number of sports is outrageous. Also, there is no reason for a second football league and there are currently far too many games and teams to keep track of. Also, doubling that amount would drive people crazy. What reason is there for the XFL? There isn’t any, but that has not stopped celebrities from throwing around their money for outrageous reason. Dwayne the Rock Johnson bought the XFL for one incredibly selfish reason.

He wants recreate The Game Plan (2007). This film was one of his first starring roles and is severely underappreciated. Thus, the Rock created a plan to purchase this league and stage a real-world recreation of The Game Plan. No one knows exactly who The Rock will be bring on board for the starring roles of Joe Kingman (Dwayne Johnson) and Peyton Kellly (Madison Pettis). Strangely, even though the original film was made by Disney, they are completely uninvolved in this recreation.

It’s believed that the XFL will be designed to be more similar to the WWE. Dwayne The Rock Johnson Bought the XFL with his WWE experience in mind. We are hoping The Rock will bring in some of his old WWE friends. Will we see the Undertaker, Brock Lesner, John Cena, Ric Flair, or Rey Mysterio? Science has the controversial opinion that a theatrical, scripted football would be far more entertaining than the NFL. On the other hand, Research suggests that the XFL will continue to be unprofitable and ultimately fail, like it did in the early 2000s and 2020. There is no chance that the Rock’s 15 million dollar investment to recreate The Game Plan will give the results he wants. If anything, this is an embarrassing display of lacking self-confidence. The Rock should let The Game Plan rot in the shadows, where it belongs.
