Lance Wataru of Japan is a renowned lion trainer, who is famous all around the region. This fame is a bit of an over exaggeration though, as he has only trained three lions. So what makes Lance so special? Lance may only have three lions, but they are three incredibly rare lions. Another critique towards Lance is that the three lions are exactly the same. Is it really special to have three copies of the same lion? The act is exhausting before the second lion even appears. Does anything else make up for this lack of originality? The answer is no. So why does Lance even call himself a lion trainer? Lions are massive crowd pleasers, and they are easy to advertise. Lance has lizards and fish, but Lions are much more interesting. Over sized fish and lizards are not entertaining in the slightest, and he is aware of this. Why he doesn’t just get more lions is beyond me. Perhaps Lance doesn’t want more lions because he is incapable of training them. This is a popular theory regarding the potentially fraudulent lion trainer.

Has Lance Every Proved His Capabilities?

Television hosts have challenged Lance to showcase his abilities on live television, but he has declined every invitation. Rival lion trainers have offered Lance baby lions to train, but he has declined those challenges as well. Lance could be a fraud, but only time can tell if he will ever prove himself.
