Pokemon Sword And Shield: Crown Tundra’s Worst New Additions

Countless amounts of new Pokemon were added to the Crown Tundra expansion, but some of them should have remained extinct. Fans were initially upset after the removal of nearly 600 beloved Pokemon. Unfortunately Game Freak added plenty of Pokemon back, but maybe they didn’t have the best judgement. This is the Pokemon Sword and Shield: Crown Tundra’s worst new additions.

The Top 5 New Pokemon Added To Sword And Shield

5. Zubat

The only good thing about Pokemon Sword and Shield was the lack of Zubat. While Zubat are iconic to the Pokemon series, their relationship with the fans was toxic. You only miss them because you knew them to long. Zubat did not need to come back. Caves are once again loathed due to the addition of Zubat.

4. Jinx

Sword and Shield was the perfect chance to finally cancel Jinx once and for all. In a shocking move, Game Freak has decided to bring Jinx back. With 300 Pokemon still missing forever, it is shocking that Jinx of all Pokemon were chosen. Jinx has been controversial since the 90’s and now would have been the perfect time to forget all about it. We could have at least gotten a funny Galarian Jinx that takes on a whole new offensive stereotype, but nope, we just got the same old Jinx.

3. Blaziken

Blaziken doesn’t deserve this opinion, but it has earned it. The Pokemon is just so over used. Each season Game Freak bans over used Pokemon from competitive play, yet now they intention add the most over used one of them all. Blaziken is ever 8 year old boys dream come true. A bad ass cock fighting mascot that cannot be stopped. The pokemon is so over used, that even in Pokemon X and Y, Game Freak gave Blaziken a mega form. It was the only Hoenn starter to receive a mega form. Blaziken had its time to shine, it was okay to keep it gone.

2. Garchomp

If Pokemon Go wasn’t bad enough with Garchomp around, get ready because Garchomp is back. Dragonite and Metagross have had their fair share of controversies, but no one is more over powered than Garchomp. Get ready to see a Garchomp in every single match online. The fan boys worship Garchomp. They will shiny farm that Pokemon to the point where you forget what their standard color looks like. Expect to see Shiny Garchomps all over the place.

1. Every Single Legendary

Legendary Pokemon were not missed. While I am a huge fan of Ho-oh, Groudon, Mewtwo, and the three legendary birds, I did not miss their existence. Zacian and Zamazenta were bad enough, but now nearly every legendary is back. Get ready to only see legendaries in max raid battles here on out. Soon players will forget what non-legendary Pokemon even look like. Crown Tundra might as well have been renamed Pokemon: You Get A Legendary! Everyone will have at least 10 legendaries on launch night.

This has been Pokemon Sword and Shield: Crown Tundra’s worst new Pokemon additions. What did you think of the list? Do you agree with Game Freak’s choices? Let us know in the comments.
