Minecraft Live Action Movie Announced Starring Tom Holland

The Minecraft Live Action Movie was announced last year. In addition to this, Tom Holland is on fire. Which is surprising after his recent injury on set with Spiderman 2. Mojang was excited to announce this new movie, with an expected release in March 2022. The new Minecraft Live Action movie may be the biggest video game film of all time. There has been many successful adaptations, such as the Sonic the Hedgehog movie and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu. We don’t have any other details on this film besides Tom Holland being attached to it. Nonetheless, with Minecraft being the biggest video game of all time, we’re sure that this movie will hit huge box office numbers.

Minecraft Live Action Predictions

Minecraft doesn’t have much of a story. You have the Nether, the End, and the Ender Dragon. There isn’t much to the campaign besides that. Because of this, we’re wondering if this movie will be based on Survival Mode or Creative Mode. With Tom Holland as the lead, it would be an epic film watching him shooting down the Ender Dragon. However, due to this weak plot, we wonder if the film might be based on the games creative mode.

Research suggests that, if the Minecraft Live Action movie is based on creative mode, it would consist of 90 minutes of Tom Holland playing with Legos. Although this sounds boring to some, this is the average Minecraft player’s dream.

Nonetheless, we’re excited to see all our favorite Minecraft characters brought to life. The Zombie, Creepers, Enderman, and more on the big screen. We’re curious if the film’s creative direction will go for realism or keep the game’s noteworthy block style. What are your thoughts on a Minecraft Live Action Movie? Do you think it’ll fill theaters or will it be another video game movie flop?
