Paper Mario Goes Green! Now Called Paper Mario: The Biodegradable

Did you opt-out of paper bank statements and opt-in for electronic statements? Congrats, you don’t hate the Earth! Popular video game publisher Nintendo is trying to not be an absolute monster either. To promote being environmentally conscious, Nintendo will be changing the name of Paper Mario: Origami King to Paper Mario: Now Biodegradable. While the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, it will definitely not be depleting our natural resources. In this new game, when Mario dies, his body will actually deteriorate into the Earth! Paper will no longer liter the Mario world. Way to go back to your roots Mario!

Paper Mario Will Include Biodegradable Death Animations

Mario will decay into the Earth immediately after he loses a life in the new game. Nintendo made this controversial decision not to traumatic kids, but to increase awareness of biodegradable products. Children will never forget that mario is now biodegradable after seeing his paper body slowly dissolve into the Earth. The change is welcome amongst fans, as the last Mario game was criticized for having unrealistic death animations. Concerned parents believe Nintendo has gone to far, but Nintendo themselves believe they haven’t gone far enough. Therefore Nintendo plans to make all future Mario games biodegradable. This will include both the physical game, and Mario himself.

Paper Mario: Now Biodegradable releases today! Check it out and help save the Earth. No other video game is being as environmentally conscious. This game doesn’t even have physical copies! Way to go Mario!

Update: The game launched to solid reviews, almost exclusively due to the biodegradable aspect of the game. The keyword biodegradable is mentioned in every single review with an excellent rating. The risky move paid off for Nintendo, and other developers are sure to imitate this new marketing stunt. This marketing stunt is useful for not only Nintendo, but for the Earth itself.
