New Nintendo Direct Cancelled, Here Is The Shocking Reason

There will not be a Nintendo Direct this week, and the reason is incredibly shocking. Rumor and speculation alike suggested that there would be a major Nintendo direct soon. The rumored video would announce Nintendo games for the 2020 holiday season. The new Nintendo Direct was planned for August 28th, but now it is cancelled. The shocking reason behind the lack of Nintendo related news is shocking for sure. The reason for the delay was a mystery till now. Nintendo delayed the direct due to a pandemic caused by a virus called covid-19. For anyone unaware, the virus has caused studios to close down and move to remote work. While safe, this major departure from conventional video game development has caused many delays in the gaming industry.

I Don’t Care About A Pandemic, Why Does The Nintendo Direct Have To Be Cancelled?

Safety isn’t the only reason the Nintendo Direct was cancelled. The other reason is that Nintendo just hates you. They want to see you cry and beg for a direct while they laugh from home. This reason is very understandable, as Animal Crossing New Horizons has made Nintendo very rich. Nintendo doesn’t care if you are bored at home during this pandemic. Safety and profits come first at Nintendo. If employees are safe, and profits are rising, then Nintendo doesn’t feel the need to create and broadcast a Nintendo direct. Everything will be okay. Life doesn’t revolve around Nintendo, and plenty of games will still release for the Nintendo Switch. The console already has an incredibly impressive library. Admit it, you have at least 7 untouched games, and 18 unfinished games, you can’t even handle Breath of the Wild 2 yet.

Realible World News will be sure to report if there isn’t a Nintendo Direct next week as well.
