GameXplain Increases Wages By 300%, Employees Now Make $6 An Hour

GameXplain is under fire for reportedly underpaying their employees despite having painful crunch hours. The information was revealed when former GameXplain employees (now Good Vibes Gaming) put out their first ‘Today’s News Tonight’ broadcast. The former members discussed their brutal hours, low pay, and blood shot eyes. This doesn’t sound very fun for a gaming channel right? This is exactly why they formed their own channel that will focus on reporting on games that bring them enjoyment. A passion project should be fun, not worse than a retail job.

Is GameXplain Going To Change Now That This Controversy Has Come To Light?

Fortunately, GameXplain founder Andre Segers hopes to make everything right. He announce that all GameXplain employees will receive a 300% pay increase. This sounds monumental. Imagine multiplying your salary by three times! The news isn’t as great as it sounds in a publicity statement though. Employees at GameXplain will now make $3 to $6 an hour as opposed to $1 to $2 an hour. This might not be the change people were hoping for.

What Has The Founded Said About This Hot Issue?

We reached out to Andre Segers who said “I thought $2 was plenty. Imagine just putting out some video game video and that already paying for a little under half of your daily coffee. It is a gaming channel. It isn’t a job to talk about video games. I am sure Ninja keeps all of his money to himself too. I thought $2 an hour was enough, but maybe $6 an hour will by them that coffee”.

It seems like Mr. Segers is more concerned with coffee and politics than gaming.
