Barack Obama, 44th president of the United States, is an incredibly charming man. He won the presidency and stole the hearts of many Americans. He loves his wife, Michelle Obama, and their two children Malia and Sasha. Obama, as the first African American president, provided a great figure for minorities across the country. Serving 2 terms, he lowered the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.7%, ended the war in Iraq, ordered the killing of Osama Bin Laden, and more. However, he also received great criticisms during his presidency, for example the Libya airstrikes and deficit spending. Nonetheless, Obama is someone we all remember.

Barack Obama has stayed in the public eye far passed his presidency. Today, he is practically a celebrity figure. His endorsements can sway politics. His lists of favorite movies, songs, and books can drive sales. Although he’s no longer a government figure, his words continue to carry great power. Recently he released his list of his favorite Lockdown Moments since the COVID-19 pandemic began! Read below and see which moments you agree with, and which shouldn’t belong on the list.

Obama’s Top Lockdown Moments

His third favorite moments was El Torito Bar and Grill opening their patio. Obama has a deep appreciation for dine in Mexican food. Obama said he is bummed out that their Sunday buffet hasn’t started again yet. Nonetheless, he frequents El Torito and loves their cuisine.

Ranking number two on his list was increased family time with Michelle and their two kids. Even after his presidency, Obama spent about 90 hours a week at the library and El Torito Grill. Now that he can’t spend 6 hours a day gorging himself with Mexican cuisine, he realized spending time at home isn’t so bad after all.

Obama’s NUMBER ONE choice is no surprise to his long time followers. He has LOVED online shopping! Obama didn’t know online shopping existed until the lockdown. Obama hasn’t heard of Amazon, eBay, or any other online retailer. After exclusively shopping at Trader Joe’s and Macy’s his entire life, Obama never knew he never knew there was anyway of shopping from his house.
