Clifford The Big Red Dog is finally coming to theaters. The live action movie will feature a more mature take on the character. Fans have wondered what could make a Clifford The Big Red Dog movie more adult. The answer can be found within the official synopsis. It states that “Clifford is back and bigger than ever. His puppy days are over, and now his owners have to address the giant elephant balls in the room. Clifford needs to get neutered. Clifford will go on a spiritual journey and learn the important of neutering and the burden he must carry underneath him forever”.

This has been a long time coming. For decades people have wondered what happened to Clifford’s Big Red Balls. By finally showing this side of his backstory, fans can get some closure on the matter. This is a noble cause because hopefully this movie can raise awareness for the importance of neutering. Scooby-Doo was recently neutered in his latest movie “Scoob”, so it is only fit that Clifford gets the same treatment.
Who Really Wanted A Live Action Clifford Movie Anyways?
You would be surprised how many people actually want this movie. A poll hit the internet in late 2019 asking audiences what live action movie they would like to see next. No one expected the results to sway this far into Clifford’s favor. Clifford received 72% of the total votes, with the second place winner “The Wizard of Oz” receiving 4% of the votes. People want Clifford to hit the big screen.

No one knows the release date of the movie. Luckily the dogs are GCI which means they do not need to practice social distancing. This movie should be completely covid-19 safe, and hopefully production can run smoothly. The only thing holding up this movie is that Clifford’s balls take a lot of man hours to animate. The studio hired an entire team just to focus on the physics of his testicles. Judging by this it seems like Clifford will have his balls attached for most of the film.
