Ellie From The Last Of Us Releases Solo Indie Album

Ellie released her first hit single “Take On Me”, a cover of the hit song “Take On Me” earlier this summer. Now Ellie has announced that her solo album will be releasing October 31st 2020. The tracklist includes covers of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”, Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”, Oasis’ “Wonderwall”, and many more generic covers. The album started development after the critically acclaimed three and a half minute scene from The Last of Us Part II. Ellie decided to use her platform to push her new album to new audiences.

We were able to score an interview with Ellie who said “I knew this album was what I was born to do. I didn’t sing my heart out for “Take On Me” just to stop there. I always knew I had at least 12 more cover songs in me. Joel taught me all I know, and I will take this skill to the grave. I think “Take On Me” was my claim to fame, but I will surpass it with my soulful cover of “Rock Lobster”. I plan to rush out a cover album every year to make rent, so stay tuned”. Wonderful news Ellie, and thank you so much for announcing so much during our exclusive interview.

Realible World News will be sure to keep a close eye on Ellie’s developing musical career.
