Il Piantissimo is a strange character from Super Mario Sunshine. No one really understands what or who he is supposed to be. The game features a lot of strange characters, but Il Piantissimo takes the cake. The giant eel that needs his teeth cleaned and the mysterious owner of the Delfino Hotel have nothing on him. Even the horny boos aren’t as unsettling as the existence of Il Piantissimo. So what is he exactly? He looks to be a human wearing pianta closing. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. No one else seems to accept him or like him. He has a cocky attitude and wants to race Mario in the three worlds he appears in. So who is he exactly? Thanks to datamining we finally have our answer. After 18 years it is finally revealed that Il Piantissimo is indeed Orlando Bloom.

How Do We Know That Il Piantissimo Is Orlando Bloom?

Dataminers are now able to get a clear look under his Pianta head piece. The disguise can’t fool anyone anymore. The resemblance is uncanny. He has to be Orlando Bloom. The star was extra relevent and famous back in 2002 when Super Mario Sunshine released. This inclusion makes a ton of sense in hindsight. Back when the game released players would try to manipulate the camera to see underneath his disguise. There were plenty of theories, but no one ever figured it out for sure. No one knows if Orlando Bloom knows of this Easter Egg, or if he was involved at all. Hopefully the actor will appreciate the reference. If he doesn’t Nintendo might have an Ellen Page situation on their hands.

Why Did Nintendo Try To Mask This Wonderful Easter Egg?

Nintendo could have made Il Piantissimo wear a mask to hide his identity. Judging by this, it is easily possible Nintendo did not get permission to use his likeness. He looks way too much like Orlando Bloom for them to get away with this. It is obvious there could have been legal issues if they didn’t mask the character. This suggests that Orlando Bloom does not know about his appearance in the game. We hope he isn’t too angry, and we hope he finds out soon. The Boys Season 2 just ended with a bang. While most plot lines came to an end, there are still plenty of loose ends. Each of these loose ends can still pop back up in The Boys Season 3. Between the disappearance of Cindy, A-train rejoining The Seven, and The Deep leaving the Church of the Collective, there is still plenty that could happen. Here are the top 10 theories regarding The Boys season 3 that are likely to be 100% accurate.

What Will Happen In The Boys Season 3?

  1. Homelander will cum many more times. In the comics, there is an infamous story line called “Herogasm”. Herogasm is not to be confused with “Orgasmo”, a porn spoof parody by the creators of South Park. Herogasm is a plot line involving a sex-filled vacation for tons of supes. Homelander will likely explore his sexual freedom, and use sex as a means of coping with both the loss of his girlfriend, baby mama, and son, but also cope with the loss of his control over The Seven.
  2. Hughie literally cucks. With Becka dead, Butcher and Starlight’s blossoming romance can finally bloom. The two have a lot in common and share many traits. It is possible that Butcher and Starlight will become romantically involved. This will leave Hughie to cuck once again.
  3. A-train gets hooked on compound V again. Joining The Seven seems to do nothing but ruin your life. No one in The Seven is happy or functional in the slightest. Both The Deep and A-train showed more growth during their time without The Seven than they ever did within it. A-train is likely to lose his grip again. This would cause him to relapse into the same destructive path he was on before. We can easy see A-train lose the progress he has made during The Boys season 3.
  4. More head explosions. There is no way a season prominently featuring Victoria Neuman could go without more head explosions. A political figure that can cover their tracks indefinitely is a horrifying threat to The Boys. She has stopped witnesses, fellow supes, and even high level Vought associates.
  5. The Deep finds Nemo. With all the pop-culture refences sprinkled throughout Season 1 and Season 2, there is a nearly a 0% chance there isn’t a reference to The Deep finding Nemo. This is a task The Deep can actually try to do. He can talk to fish, and swim to his heart’s extent. The mission might be a fake out, or even a joke for his own Vought film, but it will definitely happen. Foreshadowing is common in The Boys, and this has been foreshadowed for the last 16 episodes.
  6. Terror gets a shot of compound V. Butcher may not take a hit of compound V yet, but that doesn’t mean his dog won’t. Terror could be a real terror against The Seven if he becomes the first dog supe. Imagine him sinking his teeth into Homelander’s leg. This kind of whacky left field move is exactly what The Boys is known for. This is definitely going to happen.
  7. Stormfront becomes Darth Vader. Stormfront wasn’t left looking exactly like a burnt up Anakin for nothing. This was likely alluding to the Darth Vader like character she will become. The Nazis are very similar to the siths. Making Stormfront a lightning throwing sith lord makes a ton of sense, as Stormfront already utilizes that ability.
  8. Hughie almost dies in a pathetic way. This one is guaranteed. Hughie almost died from rolling a couple times in a van. Stormfront threw and electrocuted a van containing M.M., Becka, and Ryan, yet no one received major injuries at that time.
  9. Ryan kills Homelander. If we see a time skip, Ryan can become the Homelander contingency plan Vought wants and needs. If Ryan could age a bit and become more mature and capable, then this could definitely occur.
  10. Homelander goes postal. Homelander did not seem happy with the rest of The Seven, the American audience, Vought, or The Boys. He threatened to destroy everyone and everything. Homelander is on the verge of acting upon that threat, he just needs one more push. What will the push be? Who knows for sure. Maybe his own son turning against him? Maybe someone else leaks Maive’s video early? We will have to wait and see.
  11. Butcher Replaces Homelander. Butcher is looking more and more villainous by the episode. He stared at Ryan in anger while holding a crowbar. This was likely foreshadowing his decent into a true villain. Will he become a supe and hunt down all other supes? A recent photo of Karl Urban dressed as Homelander may be foreshadowing this happening.

Super Mario Sunshine is a charming but imperfect game. Despite having many camera and control issues, the game is memorable and an important entry to the Super Mario franchise. The game may be memorable, but the internet didn’t recall a shocking detail within the game. In Super Mario Sunshine the Boos are incredibly horny. Perhaps it was childhood innocent, or maybe suppressed memories, but one thing is for sure; these Boos are the horniest creatures in a Mario game. Just take one look at these Boos. They are pink, flushed, salivating, and their eyes twinkle with horniness. The horny Boos are more noticeable when compared with the non-horny variant also located within Hotel Delfino.

These Boos look stoned, and maybe a little aroused, but they are definitely not as horny as the pink horny Boo.

There are many couples staying in the rooms at Hotel Delfino, and their are also plenty of suspicious swinger types staying alone as well. This could be why horny Boos would swamp the Sirena Beach hotel.

Secondly, it is possible F.L.U.D.D makes the Boos horny. No one Mario game features such horny Boos, and the only thing Super Mario Sunshine has that the other games don’t is F.L.U.D.D. of course. The Boos even turn into pink platforms whenever they are sprayed. Soaking a wet Boo may be exactly what makes them climax into a flattened state. Don’t ask us why this is what Boos do, as we didn’t make them this way.

Lastly, it is possible that the Boo’s are wasted. People often get drunk at hotels, and Boos could partake in similar habits. A drunk Boo is a horny Boo, at least that is what I have been told my Nintendo reps.

Super Mario Sunshine has always been a bit divisive, as some fans appreciate the unique worlds within the game. However, other fans remember the game as a frustrating mess. Whether you love the game or dismiss it, the game has always been notorious for its troublesome camera and frequent glitches, but now the game is even more infuriating. Many players are currently dealing with joy-con drift. Joy-Con drift is always inconvenient, but in Super Mario Sunshine it makes the game virtually unbeatable. The drift can not only cause the camera to permanently spin 360 degrees, but it can also cause Mario to randomly swerve in the wrong direction. Nothing is more iconic than Mario grabbing Bowser by the tail, twirling him round and round, and letting out a “so long gay Bowser” as Bowser is flung into a floating mine. Unfortunately this is a memory only 90’s kids will have. Nintendo has announced that “so long gay Bowser” will not return for the new Nintendo Switch Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection. Nintendo announced the controversial decision in a lengthy statement, which can be found later in the article. The phrase has become a meme in modern times, but initially the phrase was just an innocent and fun misheard line. Many fans are upset to hear that the line will be removed, but Nintendo does not want to risk having such a line in a 2020 video game.

So Why Is Nintendo Removing “So Long Gay Bowser?”

Nintendo released a statement regarding the removable of the iconic line. Nintendo told Gayme Informer Magazine “We cannot risk having a homophobic remark within one of our games in 2020. 1996 was a different time. We thought the line was funny, and it even still is, but we have to pretend that it isn’t. This is just how jokes were back then. In Spider-Man 2002, the hero insults a wrestler by suggesting that he has a husband. These jokes don’t work in 2020. Mario will now say “Bye-Bye King Bowser” instead. The line is less funny, but definitely more safe”. Nintendo seems to be working hard to keep all fans satisfied, not just heterosexual fans. We respect Nintendo for this decision, but we will also miss the iconic line. Ideally you would be able to select your version of the game upon launching the title. Perhaps they could pick a censored or uncensored version of the game. We hope Nintendo reads this and adds this option.
